The Holiday Classic is back! The 3rd annual tournament will provide competition to U14-18 teams across Ontario and Quebec. Games will take place at the RA Centre Dome located at 2451 Riverside Drive in Ottawa, ON. There may also be games at the OttawaU Lees Dome depending on the number of teams that have registered. We look forward to welcoming your teams and families.
Schedule
- The tournament will be played on December 27th and 28th
- Games will run from 10:00am-7:00pm on December 27, and 10:00am-3:00pm on December 28.
- The youngest age groups will start earliest on both days, with the older age groups kicking off progressively later throughout the day.
- The round robin schedule will be posted no later than December 20
Format
- 7 v 7 (including goalie)
- Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 120-minutes of game time in group play (number of games TBD based on division size ex: 3 x 40-minute games or 4 x 30-minute games).
- The top teams will qualify for the playoffs
- Playoff games tied at the end of regulation go straight to PKs
- Min division size: Four (4) teams
- Max division size: Twelve (12) teams
- Multiple tiers (1 & 2) will be offered where possible
